Atul Ltd (Atul) was founded by Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai, a legendary Indian, to create wealth in rural India, generate employment on a large-scale and make our country self-reliant. Atul has manufactured many products for the first time in India. Since its inception, it has served society, particularly in the areas of national priorities such as education, empowerment and infrastructure. The first private sector company of independent India to be inaugurated by the first Prime Minister of the country, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Atul celebrates 72 years of operations on March 17, 2024. The Company has continually evolved during this journey, leveraging depth in science and technology to propel its growth.

Atul’s Polymers - Retail team celebrated this occasion with some of its end-users and their family in Malad, Mumbai. As a token of appreciation and gratitude, the Company organised a small get-together of imitation jewellery makers and distributed school kits to their children. These consumers use Lapox adhesives to design a variety of imitation jewellery and handicraft.
